ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ adds business analytics degree

College expands number of programs eligible for free SUNY Reconnect support

QUEENSBURY, New York (July 13, 2026) — ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ is proud to announce an expansion of offerings eligible for SUNY Reconnect, a state-funded program that supports adults pursuing an associate degree in high-demand fields.

Starting in the fall semester, ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ will offer more than a dozen degree programs that qualify for Reconnect, including the all-new Applied Business Information and Analytics major, which combines a traditional business education with artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, information management systems and digital communication platforms.

"SUNY Reconnect is creating new opportunities for adult learners to gain the education and skills employers across our region need," said Diane Wildey, associate vice president for Academic Affairs. "By expanding the number of eligible degree programs — including our new Applied Business Information & Analytics major — we're making it easier for students to prepare for careers in growing industries while balancing work, family and other responsibilities."

Majors at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ in the Reconnect program include:

  • Adolescence Education Mathematics Studies;
  • Applied Business Information and Analytics;
  • Computer Science;
  • Criminal Justice: Substance Use and Addiction Services;
  • Cybersecurity and Networking;
  • Early Childhood/Childhood Education Studies;
  • Engineering Science;  
  • Environmental Science;
  • Health Sciences;
  • Journeyworker: Construction Management;
  • Mechatronics;
  • Nursing

SUNY Reconnect is available to residents of New York state between the ages of 25 and 55 who have not earned a college degree. The program covers the costs of tuition, mandatory fees, books and supplies after other forms of tuition assistance are applied. To be eligible, students must file the New York State TAP (Tuition Assistance Program) application and are strongly encouraged to file a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Reconnect pays whatever isn’t covered after aid is applied.

The college will offer two information sessions about SUNY Reconnect, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 20 and Aug. 10. Register at https://connect.sunyacc.edu/portal/reconnect_oncampus_info_sessions
