12-week museum program wraps up with exhibition at Seasoned restaurant

An Adirondack-North Country Veterans’ Initiative program will be held Nov. 17 at Bryan Hall (Regional Higher Education Center) on the ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Queensbury campus.
The free event, which is sponsored by ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ and SUNY Plattsburgh at Queensbury, will connect military veterans with resources related to career assistance, benefits, Green Zone training and health.
Buck Bryan, a Navy veteran with 38 years of flight experience, will present the keynote address. Bryan returned to college at age 45 and earned four degrees.
Presenters include Ruben Acevedo, a retired Army veteran and a veterans benefit advisor on the ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ campus; Tracy Arredondo, nurse administrator of Glens Falls VA Primary Care Center for the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center; Jeremy Grabbe, associate chair of psychology at SUNY Plattsburgh at Queensbury; Julia Overton-Healy, CEO of Sky Top Strategies career coaching; Karen M. Sheehan, an administrator of Behavioral Health Telehealth for the VA Medical Center; and Ryan Thomas, an Air Force veteran currently pursuing a doctorate in higher education.
The program will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
