Employer incentives (NYSDOL & SUNY)
- $1,000 employer incentive
When an apprentice is registered for related instruction at a SUNY college within six months of NYSDOL approval - $500 employer incentive
For hiring a SUNY community-based pre-apprenticeship completer - New York state tax credits
- $2,000 – Year 1
- $3,000 – Year 2
- $4,000 – Year 3
- $5,000 – Year 4
- $6,000 – Year 5
(Higher incentives available for disadvantaged youth)
